My Good Friend

I have a good friend. She is a cute girl. Her hair is long and straight. Her eyes are big. Her nose is small. She is very thin. 我有一个好朋友。她是一个可爱的女孩。她有一头又长又直的头发。大大的眼睛，小巧的鼻子。她很瘦。

She likes to help others. She is a hard-working student. She is good at English and Chinese.

她喜欢助人为乐。她是个很用功的学生。她的英语和语文都很好。

Her favorite season is summer, because she likes eating ice-creams in hot days.

她最喜欢夏天，因为她喜欢在大热天吃冰激凌。

She has many hobbies. She likes playing the piano, reading books and singing songs.

We often play games together. I hope we can be friends forever.

A Cute Little Pig可爱的小猪

Mother gave me a toy "pig" on my tenth birthday. It was very lovely.

Family

Everybody has his own family. What is family? I don't think everyone really knows.

There are six letters in the word "FAMILY"."F" stands for "father";"A" stands for "and";"M" stands for "mother";"I" stands for "I";"L" stands for "love";"Y" stands for "you". "FAMILY"这个单词有六个字母。"F"代表"Father"（爸爸）；"A"代表"and"（和）；"M"代表"Mother"（妈妈）；"I"代表"I"（我）；"L"代表"Love"（爱）；"Y"代表"You"（你/你们）。

So "FAMILY" is the short form of "Father and mother, I love you." Don't you think so?

Father and mother love us, and we love father and mother. That's a happy family.

My school

My school is near a small lake. It is very beautiful. I like my school very much.

We have a high teaching building and it is big and clean. Our classroom is on the fifth floor. The computer rooms are on the third floor. We have computer classes there. We have a big library on the second floor. There are many books in it. I like reading books there. My Bedroom我的卧室

It's small but nice. I have a big bed and it is very soft and comfortable. There is a lovely Teddy bear on the bed and it is a gift from my mother. Water is very important for us. We must drink water everyday. We can't live without water.

Water is everywhere around us. At home, we use water to wash clothes, wash dishes, cook rice, clean the flat, have showers, clean our teeth and so on. At work, people use water to put out fires, grow vegetables, make things in factories and so on. Water is important for us, isn't it?
