Many kids help their parents with chores, such as doing the dishes, cleaning the living

room and taking out the rubbish. And somd kids get money or other rewards(奖赏) such as

more computer time by doing chores.

But some people do not think that kids should get rewards by doing chores. Susie Walton.

an expert, beliieves that by rewarding kids, parents are sending a message that work isn't important unless you can get something. “Running any kind of family is a team work,” Walton says. “A home is a living place for everyone in the family. It's important for kids to see that we all have responsibilities in the house.”

Other people believe that getting money or other rewards makes kids do chores happily and it also teaches them real world lessons about what we need to do to make money. The world itself is becoming much smaller by using modern traffic and morden communication means (工具). Life today is much easier than it was hundreds of years ago, but it has brought new problems. One of the biggest problems is pollution. To pollute means to make things dirty. Pollution comes in many ways. We see it, smell it, drink it and even heart it.
