Queen North； “For a start ,you cannot have your friends round here any more . ’

Princess Jane ：“why not?”

Queen North：（无奈） “Because they make too much mess.”

King Harry :“perhaps we can all try to keep the castle tidy .I’m sure that Captain Jones and Captain Smith will help. I can even do a bit of washing myself.”

Queen Norah :（尖叫道）“what! people will say that King Harry does his own cleaning! Never!”

Princess Jane ：“we can put up an advert for a cleaner.”

Queen Norah. “Good idea.Write an advert at once.”

（King Harry 边唱歌边洗碗）

Queen Norah. ：“stop this at once, these are not jobs for a king and his captains. You should be out fighting dragons. ”

King Harry “we’ve never seen any dragons, dear,” Queen Norah.“you have never even looked for them,”

Queen Norah ：“and you three: don’t even think about doing the cleaning，you will go on a quest while I’m away.’

King Harry：（脸色苍白） ‘a quest? a quest for dragons?’

Queen Norah ：‘you can look for them, too. but the main job is to find a new cleaner.’

Princess Jane.：‘ what about me?’

Queen Norah ：You can stay at home and don’t let any burglars in or your friends.

（King Harry和船长们出发，Princess Jane向他们挥手告别）

Princess Jane： ‘ it’s not fair. everyone’s off on quests and tours, and I am stuck on my own in this smelly old castle.’

（门口传来敲门声，Princess Jane开门，蒙面清洁女工登场）

Masked lady1:‘we are the Masked Cleaning Ladies of Om’

Masked lady 2:‘we were sent by your father, King Harry,’

Princess Jane:‘that was quick.where is my father?’

Masked lady 3:‘chasing dragons.

Princess Jane ‘ why are you masked ?’

Masked lady 1‘we have to protect ourseles from the dust.can we start?’

(蒙面清洁女工1开始把衣服扔进洗衣机)

Princess Jane. ‘now that the castle is clean you can take off your masks.’

Masked lady 2 ‘oh, no，we can’t do that.’

Princess Jane ‘why not?’

Masked lady 3：（说话吞吐）“er,er, if we take off our masks we won’t be the Masked Cleaning Ladies of Om.’

（Princess Jane想起王后的话）

Masked lady 1：‘Hm,shall I wash this tablecloth on ‘hot’or ‘very hot’ ?

（Princess Jane拿布盖住蒙面女工的头，并把他带到地牢）

Masked lady 1‘help!where am i?’

（蒙面清洁女工2在打扫）

Princess Jane ‘Excuse me, but, it’s very dirty in here.’

Masked lady （走进室内）‘I swept it only five minutes ago. let me have a look.’

（Princess Jane closed the door and turned the key.第三个蒙面清洁女工在使用吸尘器，Princess Jane抢过吸尘器并把吸尘器口对准了蒙面清洁女工）

Princess Jane ‘one false move. and I’ll suck you into the vacuum, now, take off your mask.’

（the cleaning lady took off her mask.）

Princess Jane （大吃一惊喊道）‘Father!’

（The other two cleaning ladies turned out to be Captain Smith and Captain Jones.）

Princess Jane.‘I think that you had better explain.’

king Harry ‘well, we set off on our quest. When we reached the woods, we saw a dragon.’

Captain Jones. ‘We think we saw a dragon,’ Captain Smith. ‘at least, we heard sth moving in the woods and it sounded like a dragon.’

Captain Jones. ‘so we thought we had better come home.’

Captain Smith ‘we dressed up as cleaners.’.

King Harry, ‘we rather like doing housework we like the smell of polish.’

Captain Jones. ‘we like the hum of the vacuum cleaner.’

Captain Smith. ‘we like the feel of soap flakes.’

King Harry. ‘and it’s much less dangerous than fighting dragons.’

Captain Jones ‘dragons are very rare，it’s not fair to hunt them.’

Princess Jane. ‘Hm it seems to me that you three have been telling lies, Father, you have always told me to tell the truth.’

King Harry. ‘I’m very sorry,’

Princess Jane ‘what will the Queen say? She’ll find out that you haven’t found any cleaners or fought any dragons.’ Said Princess Jane ‘ she will send you on a year’s dragon quest.’

King Harry, Captain Smith and Captain Jone ‘ please don’t tell,’

said Princess Jane ‘I won’t tell if …’

Princess Jane ‘ if my friends can come round to play.’

King Harry. ‘agreed.’

Queen Norah. ‘so，the quest was a success, who did you find?’

’ King Harry ‘we found three cleaners..

Captain Jones ‘they wear masks’.

‘and they can only come on Mondays’

Queen Norah ‘why’s that?’

King Harry ‘now that we have proper cleaners. don’t you think that Jane’s friends can come here again?’

everybody is happy.
