1教学内容
导读课 -- Unit 7 The Adventure of Tom Sawyer
本单元的主阅读节选自马克吐温的著名长篇小说“The Adventure of Tom Sawyer”中的故事 —“汤姆漆栅栏”。故事讲述了汤姆在担心被同伴嘲笑和完不成漆栅栏的任务的双重压力下,设计了一个“圈套”让同伴一起完成,同时还获得了一堆宝贝。在进入主阅读的学习前,学生对该故事的作者、写作背景等信2 教材分析
息知之甚少,若直接进入篇章阅读学习,会对整个故事的前因后果不太理解,同时也会错过很多精彩的故事情节。为了让学生更自然地进入故事的阅读,本节课的定位为导读课,将对作者马克吐温的生平,故事发生的背景及起因作为导入。
《汤姆索亚流浪记》也是著名的儿童读本,部分学生之前应该通过故事书或动画片等渠道对该故事有所耳闻,这对他们学习英文的文本提供了很好的铺垫。3 学情分析
但对于故事的作者、背景及故事起因,很多学生没有清晰的概念。因此学生在进入主阅读篇章前,有必要进行导读训练,以便他们能自然地进入故事的学习。
